Stone Set Ring Workshop

Learn some basic and fun silversmithing and stone setting setting techniques in this 3 hr workshop. To begin the session you will choose which stone you would like to set from a choice of colours. Throughout the rest of the session you will learn how to size, file, shape, solder and apply texture using a hammer to create the ring. You will then learn how to set the stone to a professional finish and be ready to wear your ring as you leave!

This is the perfect workshop for anyone wanting to have a taster of silver jewellery making using traditional methods and a great addition to our stacking rings workshop as the ring you make can stack perfectly with other rings.

Our silversmtihing workshops take place in our bright, colourful, fully equipped silver studio. Half day workshops are limited to eight people who each have their own professional jewellery bench to work from and plenty of one to one tuition.

Materials are NOT included in the workshop fee and are charged as used on the day.

Materials cost approximately £15.00 (depending on ring size).

 Refund/Cancellations

If you have to cancel a workshop/course then a full refund will be given with at least 4 weeks notice. You can transfer onto any other workshop/course in the current programme with at least 4 weeks notice. Within the four weeks before the workshop/course starts you will not be able to transfer or receive a refund. You can at anytime transfer your place to a friend. 
We reserve the right to cancel any workshop at short notice whereupon a full refund will be given.
