Here you'll be kept up to date with new products, workshops and jewellery ranges

Earrings Galoure with Christine Bloxham

At the beginning of the day you will be introduced to the use of fireline - a robust beading cord used in bead weaving techniques, beading needles, seed beads and focal beads to create a simple pair of dangling earrings with a beaded loop. You will then be shown how to use seed beads and small accent beads to create a fringed earring - a technique that can be beautifully used within beaded pendants and bracelets.
After exploring these more simple techniques you will then progress onto linking beads with peyote stitch to create wave form earrings. Free form peyote naturally spirals and creates an interesting, free flowing organic form - you will be shown how this technique can be explored on a small scale to create an individual pair of earrings.
Embellished bead netting is the final technique you will be shown. This technique gives a more structured feel but again can be explored within your own design.
All the techniques covered throughout the workshop can be developed into necklaces, pendants, bracelets, brooches, rings and more...your imagination is your limit!!
